Halloween costumes become real - i.e if you dress as a vampire you become a vampire.

Zombie apocalypse -
Two survivors stuck in confined space, having only just met each other. Possibly a shed or car or car boot or on a roof top. Being trapped due to zombies. Whatever will they do to make the time go quicker.
Or maybe one survivor tries stealing supplies from another survivor and gets caught by them.
